National Hospice and Palliative Organization (NHPCO) – Learn about hospice, advance directives and finding a hospice provider.

Moyer’s On Our Own Terms – From a series on public television, offers valuable resources about advance directions and end of life care.  Includes personal interviews and various cultural traditions regarding death.

Pennsylvania Hospice Network – A state organization of hospice providers giving vasic info about access to hospice care.

University of Wisconsin Pain Studies Group – Provides current information regarding opiod analgesics, prescriptions monitoring programs and pain management. – Provides resources to medication information.

Songs for the Journey – is a volunteer ministry of music for Lancaster County PA residents who are actively dying (1 to 48 hours prior to death). One or two musicians/singers offer soothing music to comfort the person who is dying and the friends and family who are bedside. There is no charge for this holy service.

Guided Angels Ministry – offers recorded music for those who are actively dying. These recordings are the work of a trained and experienced professional therapeutic musician. Her CDs for those who are dying are in use at healthcare facilities around the world and can be purchased off her website.
